New organisation that started using Spatineo Monitor in the beginning of 2018 is the Nurmijärvi Municipality from Finland. Nurmijärvi Municipality’s central spatial data sets, such as city plan, guide map, aerial photographs and topographic maps are available through WMS and WFS services both for the city’s own administrative use and for external customers. Therefore, monitoring the quality of their spatial web services and analysing the use is important.
Until now the municipality hasn’t have proper information about the usage of their spatial web services. Usage information is important for the future development of spatial datasets and services. Nurmijärvi also wants to ensure that the WMS and WFS services meet the requirements of INSPIRE.
