Iberian Journey on Spatial Data Infrastructure (JIIDE)
Spatineo will be presenting in the Iberian Journey on Spatial Data Infrastructure in 15th-17th of November in Lisbon. This is the 8th time this conference is being held, and this year’s theme revolves around the contribution of SDIs to digital interoperability, and more globally speaking, to the so called Digital Economy.
Usage of geographical data has been increasing for the past years and geodata has seen diversified use in all fields lately. Standards such as INSPIRE help to ensure the digital interoperability of this data. Quality is also a key factor when harmonizing information. And when it comes to assure quality of spatial web services, SDI providers need to have a standardized way of measuring and communicating the expected quality of service level to users. There is where Spatineo tools help organisations using more comprehensive criteria that include availability, performance and capacity of the services.
“Our presentation at JIIDE 2017 intends to explain how organisations can assure a pre-defined quality level of their services based on individual measurements of SDI components like the availability % level recorded, the response time history, service capacity requirements and validation of the Capabilities Document against OGC and INSPIRE standards.“ – Fabio Bittencourt
