Spatineo was accepted to the Young Innovative Company funding programme run by Tekes, the Finnish Funding Agency for Innovation. In the programme, Tekes offers funding for young, innovative companies for the development of their international business with the aim of substantially accelerating the global growth of the most promising start-up companies. The first phase of the programme last one year and provides a grant/subsidy that has a fixed amount of 250 000 euros. Meeting the agreed targets in the phase 1 allows Spatineo to apply to the next phases for additional funding.
Spatineo has two main goals in the project: Firstly to accelerate the international growth in the current main market (European public administration) by increasing international product sales and secondly to grow the business by researching potential new markets. This funding adds to the previous 250 000 € Spatineo raised in September from a private angel investor. In practise this means for instance new recruitments and expanding our marketing activities. With this additional funding we will be able to serve even more customers and even better. We’re really excited about the new opportunities this opens us.
