Mika Matikainen Appointed CEO of Spatineo

Spatineo Oy has appointed Mika Matikainen, M.Sc. (Eng.), MBA, as the company’s new CEO. Matikainen will assume his new role on August 17, 2026.

Mika Matikainen has extensive and diverse experience in international management, sales, and technology. Throughout his career, he has led and grown businesses and built successful teams at companies including LeadDesk, Proact, EMC, and NetApp.

Spatineo’s current strategic cycle is coming to an end, and under Matikainen’s leadership, the company will begin preparing a new growth strategy. Spatineo’s goal is to lay the foundation for significant and profitable growth and to identify a clear strategic role for the company’s current and future products in supporting that growth.

Matikainen sees Spatineo’s next phase as being built on a clear strategy, deep customer understanding, and efficient operations. “My role is to ensure that the entire organization has a clear direction for growth and that our employees have the right conditions to achieve the goals set out in the strategy.
